Mission Statement

The Frederick Douglass Society is a club for high school students founded by Marley Froe, and co-founded by myself, Anya Phelps. Our sponsors are Mrs. Holland and Mrs.Wilson. The Frederick Douglass Society is a club dedicated to helping students feel more comfortable in having discussions on challenging topics. We also want to help create a welcoming environment for new students attending ACA. Our mission is to unite all students, promoting one voice and understanding of all cultural and ethinc backgrounds by being prepared and equipped to operate in excellence, bringing our community together to discuss difficult issues and face obstacles with honor and respect for all people.
